Recruitment of SHORT TERM APPRENTICES
                                                                        FOR THE YEAR 2011-12
SCHEDULE
Mode of Selection:
Selection of Short Term Apprentices will be based on Written Test.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for Selection:
1. Candidates who have passed SSLC and ITI (with NCVT) in following trades are only
eligible: (Electrician, Fitter and Electronic Mechanic)
2. Candidates who have passed ITI on or after 01.09.2009 are only eligible for appearing for the
selection.
3. Age limit: Candidates should be below 25 years as on 30.08.2011. Upper age limit is relaxed
for 5 years in case of SC, ST, & PHP candidates.
4. The ITI trade Certificate should be issued by “National Council for Vocation Training”
(NCVT), Ministry of Labour, Government of India.
5. Following are the documents to be produced in original for verification during the selection
process at selection centers:
a. SSLC Marks Card (as proof of age).
b. ITI Original Marks Cards Issued by National Council for Vocation Training (NCVT).
c. SC / ST / PHP Certificates (if applicable).
6. Only Indian nationals are eligible.
General Details:
Candidates can appear for “Walk-In-Selection” at any one of the selection centers, as
mentioned above (i.e. Bangalore and Gulbarga )
The candidates who fulfill the above conditions can appear for selection.
The duration of the Apprentice Training is for ONE YEAR only.
Stipend is as per the Government norms (Rs. 1970/- per month).
Canteen and Transport will be provided at subsidized rate
OPD Medical facilities will be provided at BEL Hospital.
Dormitory Accommodation will be facilitated for outstation candidates.
No TA/DA will be paid for the candidates to attend for selection process.
