           The CDS invites applications for the following faculty positions:

Associate Professor (6) :  Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with Rs. 8000 as grade pay.  Applicants
should have a doctorate and published research of high quality with a minimum of five years’ teaching
and research experience. Candidates with an outstanding academic and research experience of ten
years or more with publications may be considered for placement in Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000
with grade pay of Rs. 9000.
  Age limit is 40 years.

Assistant Professor (2) :  Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 with Rs. 6000 as grade pay.  Applicants
should have a doctorate, or have submitted their thesis. Published research would be an advantage.
  Age limit is 32 years
.
Visiting Faculty (2): Appointment may be made in a suitable pay band or on a consolidated salary.
Applicant should be an eminent scholar or a promising young academic. Normally, the tenure of
appointment is two years.   Age limit is 60 years.  The Centre, at its discretion, may consider candidates
in absentia.
